Life & Hobbies
Dr. Lubis was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She immigrated to the United States with her brother in 2001 and settled in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She attended and graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in psychology. While at UNF, she joined the Pre-Dental Club, where her interest in Dentistry blossomed.
Before moving to the U.S., Dr. Lubis had minimal exposure to dentistry. Growing up in Indonesia, she witnessed limited access to dental care and a lack of awareness about its importance. It sparked her passion for the field and set her on the path to becoming a dentist. She earned a Master of Biomedical Science from Barry University, then gained acceptance to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in 2023.
Dr. Lubis met her husband, Lance, in 2009, and they were married in Indonesia, surrounded by all their family and friends in 2019. They both moved to South Carolina in the summer of 2023, shortly after dental school graduation. She enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, and anything outdoors. Dr. Lubis also enjoys reading good books, playing board games, and gathering and cooking with her family and friends. She is thrilled to make Greenville her home and eager to continue learning and serving her community as a clinician, leader, and role model.
